My favorite Professor is Dr. Knotts-Zides. She taught my Calculus 2 class my first semester here at Wofford. I loved her because whenever I would go into her office hours, she would always ask how I was and have a normal conversation with me besides helping me with problems. We had a great relationship and because of that, she became a mentor to me as I adjusted to college life.
Time management is key here at Wofford because of its academic rigor, as well as its many activities. There is always something fun to do or amazing people to meet. Do not waste time by sitting in your room, but rather, take in all that Wofford has to offer. Also, if your are interested in things such as study abroad, make an appointment with their office your first week here so that they can get to know you.
I am a twin who has eaten five whole cheesecakes from the Cheesecake Factory.
When visiting schools, many of the campuses felt cold and unfriendly. Wofford was and is not the case. I was amazed while I was walking by that current students would stop, say hi, and maybe even have a conversation with me. The amazing community blew me away, and Wofford has done a great job of fostering it. I also loved the idea of Interim so that I could use it take small study abroad trips.
