Tour Guide at Wofford College
Class of 2023
Hometown: York, SC
College is a new and unique experience. There are many opportunities, specifically at Wofford, to get involved in and meet many new people. Coming into college, it is going to take time to adjust, give it time and push through because I have met some of the best people and made some of the best memories because I chose Wofford.
I am on the Wofford Women's Track and Field Team.
Professor Neely is my favorite Wofford Professor thus far. Professor Neely was my humanities professor freshman year. It was first semester and he knew that college life was very different from what many of us had experienced before. He was very patient and always willing to help any student in any way he could. I emailed him one of my papers for him to revise for me at 12 am and he sent it back to me and told me that I would have an extra three days to finish the assignment. He liked the effort I was putting in and I felt that he really wanted his students to succeed.
I was not excited to graduate high school and leave the only place I really knew, but the first time that I stepped onto Wofford's campus that all changed. Wofford College was a place I knew I would be able to call home. I have met some of my best friends and made so many memories throughout my short time at Wofford. I am fortunate enough to call this great place home. I hope that everyone who visits our campus for the first time has a feeling of belonging, just like I did.
