Tour Guide at Wofford College
She/her/hers
Class of 2022
Hometown: Spartanburg, SC
Major: Government
I have spent three summers (2017, 18, 19) in Alaska doing missions work! The Carolina's are my home, but Alaska is where my heart is.
I plan on heading to law school after I graduate. Eventually, I want to work with foster care and child advocacy. This is very near and dear to my heart, because my brother was adopted out of state foster care!
Keep your mind open! Originally, I didn't want to come to Wofford because I was born and raised in Spartanburg. Going to college here has completely changed my perspective on Spartanburg. You never know how going to college will change your plans. Part of the reason I chose Wofford was for a specific major that I ended up dropping after one semester. Keep an open mind for anything that might come at you!
Growing up in Spartanburg, I was at first turned off from Wofford. I eventually chose Wofford because I it was everything I wanted (besides being in Spartanburg). Wofford is the perfect small, liberal arts school and a wonderful home-away-from-home. The major turning point for me: anyone who went to Wofford loves it. You will be hard pressed to find someone anti-Wofford. (Also, I love being the hometown girl and knowing all the fun places to eat:)
