Why Wofford?

I chose Wofford because I loved the small environment. I liked the fact that I could truly know my professors and they could know me. I liked that I could be involved in anything/everything. I liked that I could be walking to class and see at least 5 people that I knew, but also at least 1 person that I had never seen before.

Advice to Incoming Students

Whenever you're touring a college, try to picture yourself as a student at that school. Listen to the majors/minors offered, the organizations they have on campus, the clubs you can get involved with, the internships/experiences they offer, and think about if you could see yourself participating in and being successful in those things.

Favorite Wofford Professor, and why?

By far my favorite professor is Dr. Phil Dorrol. Dr. Dorrol facilitates and encourages discussion among students in a way that challenges students to think deeper, more critically, and more creatively. His teaching is incredibly thought-provoking and easily makes his classes your favorite.
